These views are from the Agra Fort early in the morning with a nice haze hanging over the Yamuna river. |

Main entrance to the Taj and the first view you get of it from within the grounds. |

The classic view of the Taj reflected in the fountain. We stayed in a cheap hotel not far from the Taj so we were able to make several visits here at different times of day, and the light was different every time. |

Semi precious stones are inlaid into the marble in beautiful patterns in a process known as pietra dura. The beauty of the Taj is equally impressive at arms length as from across the river. |
